There are 2 types of tourist visas:

Sponsored visa: Requires an authorised sponsor to apply on your behalf. Atlys is an authorised sponsor and get you the Oman visa on time. With Atlys, you can apply for your visa online.
Unsponsored visa: Only eligible applicants can apply for an Oman unsponsored visa. You need a valid residence permit or visa from Australia, Canada, Japan, the U.K., the USA, a Schengen country, or Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) residence card.

When you apply for a tourist visa to Oman from Palakkad, you have two options:

10-day visa,
30-day visa.

You can apply for a sponsored eVisa through an authorised agent. Indian nationals cannot apply for an eVisa on the government website if they do not meet the requirements of an unsponsored visa.

Documents:

The following documents are required for any Indian to apply for the Oman Tourist Visa.

• A valid Indian Passport
• Scanned copies of the first and the last page of the applicant’s passport
• A Scanned copy of the coloured passport-sized photograph of the applicant taken against a blue background
• Details of the stay in Oman - Hotel Address or the Address of the host
• Scanned copy of the confirmed air tickets
• Scanned copy of the Official ID Card of the Guarantor in Oman (if any)
• Name, Phone Number and Address of the Guarantor in Oman (if any)
• A sanctioned leave letter or an NOC from the company if the applicant is employed.
• Scanned copy of the applicant’s Voter ID Card or Adhaar Card
• Name, Phone Number and Address of at least 2 Guarantors in India

Processing Time

The Normal processing time is 04-05 Oman Working Days except for Friday, Saturday and any Oman Holiday. How ever it may take some more time if it is pending with the Security Department.
